Self-Compassion is Healing
Self-Compassion allows us to heal from pain and grief. It affects how we relate to ourselves and our situations or experiences. We can choose to hold ourselves prisoner or we can choose to offer ourselves compassion. Without self-compassion, we may stay stuck in pain and suffering which prolongs our grieving process and our healing. It is possible to break the bad habits of self-criticism and self-judgment and transform them into more grace, kindness, understanding, and acceptance for the mistakes that we've made and the decisions that caused others pain. My hope is that this episode will encourage you that no matter what storm or season of life you are in now, you can find the strength and courage to look within and see how strong, beautiful and deserving of self-compassion you are.
